Episode Two: The Geek, the Introvert, and the Mat

Episode Two: The Geek, the Introvert, and the Mat

Hey everyone, welcome back to the ‘Yoga Guys’ talks! In this series, we chat with some of my male students about how and why they found their way to the yoga mat.

Today, we’re joined by Andrew, who offers a remarkably candid look at his life. He openly discusses how his self-confessed “computer geekiness” led to a life of isolation, creating such intense social anxiety that it made forming friendships and connections incredibly difficult.

This is a fantastic listen if you resonate with feeling this way, or if you have a sedentary job that’s causing your body to seize up. If you’re one of those people who says, “Oh, I’m not flexible enough for yoga,” you definitely need to hear his story.

What do you think Andrew’s biggest challenge was when he first started yoga?
